We’re making a new album!

We're making the biggest record we've ever made.

And we're doing it independently.

No label. No management. No investors. No corporate backing.

Just two women in their 40s who still believe deeply in making meaningful music and the community that forms around it.

For the past few years, we've been building The Lonesome Roses one song, one show, and one listener at a time. Together we've created sold-out gatherings, released music we're proud of, and built something that feels genuine and lasting.

Now we're ready to make our next record.

Our goal is to raise $50,000 to bring this album to life. We know that's a big number. We also believe in being transparent about where that money goes. Making a professional record is expensive, and we want to create this one in a way that's sustainable.

Your support helps cover:

• Studio time

• Producer and engineer fees

• Session musicians

• Mixing and mastering

• Album artwork and photography

• Video production and studio documentation

• Manufacturing CDs and vinyl

• Publicity and promotion

• Travel expenses between San Diego (where we live) and Los Angeles (where we are recording)

• Childcare during recording sessions

• And paying ourselves for the time dedicated to recording the album

For generations, artists have been expected to work for free and somehow make it all happen anyway. We're trying something different. We're creating this record with the support of the people who believe in it.
